Our Mission

Using the Prophetic wisdom as the basis of Quran Ascension's educational strategy, students will aspire mastery in 3 core levels. Reading, recitation, and memorization are the core areas of learning available. The "Reading" level
will focus on correctly articulating letters / words with an introduction to tajweed. The bench mark goal for students in this level is to properly read the 30th Juz of the Quran fluently while adhering to the rules of tajweed.

The "Recitation" level will focus on tajweed rules as well beautifying the voice in recitation. The "Memorization" level will focus on building and maintaining ones memorization starting with 30th Juz.

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "The one who was devoted to the Qur'an will be told on the Day of Resurrection: 'Recite and ascend (in ranks) as you used to recite when you were in the world. Your rank will be at the last Ayah you recite

When I started the Quran Ascension Program, I did not realize how much knowledge I would have gained by it. My instructor Sister Maysaa is very thorough and she constantly reviews all the content. She is a very dedicated instructor and she takes her time and explains everything. She also cares very much about her students and how much we are remembering. My experience is great. I am learning the basics of Tajweed, I find the topic interesting. I can take a professional tajweed class sitting in my house, at a time that is suitable for me. My instructor (Qari Ibad) is very personable and provides a very encouraging environment for the course. I came from a background of zero formal Quran reading education, so it is great that the instructor is well able to work with each student at their individual starting point. Over the past several months in the Quran Ascension program, I have memorized more Quran than I have in the past, الحمدلله.

The program provides consistency and accountability to continue progress in reading and memorizing the Quran. Even though the sessions are short (~45 min.), the fact that the classes are 3 days a week facilitates gradual improvement — as long as the student is willing to put in the time and effort. It’s ideal for busier adults aiming to incorporate the Noble Quran into their lives regularly.
